Markdown Here is Adam Pritchard's Chrome extension that makes it foolishly easy to format email.

1. Write the email in Markdown.
2. Press a keyboard shortcut (I use CTRL+ALT+M)
3. The message is rendered in place.

I especially love how code snippets look! It uses GitHub Flavored Markdown so syntax highlighting is language-sensitive.
